6th Annual Winter Workshop

Birmingham Area 

The Winter Workshop theme is: "Making Change Happen." 

The workshop will feature keynote speaker Dr. Quinn Pearson, presenting her perspectives on Advocacy in Counseling and Counselor Ethics and Responsibilities. 

Also featured will be Mr. Joshua Burford, presenting information on Reasons for Advocacy, Addressing Queer Youth Issues, School and College Issues, Student Outreach and Engagement, and Allies Support and Participation. 

A Panel Discussion of LGBT Advocates will also be included.  And Information Tables featuring LGBT Organizations, Vendors and Resources will be included.
